Late in the 19th and early 20th century, Harry Houdini captivated audiences worldwide with amazing escapes which still instill awe today. This online exhibition, part of the Jewish Museum in New York, features his magic apparatus such as his famous straightjacket, handcuffs and milk can, posters, broadsides, and photographs. But what we really love most are the videos showing Houdini live in action... yes some of his feats such as his 'Grin Game' using biplanes and the world famous straightjacket escape were recorded!
