Interactive Poppy Field - Pay Your Own Tribute on Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day, the time we reflect back on the sacrifices of the armed forces and civilians in times of war, specifically the First World War.  It was on the 11 November that World War I officially ended in 1918.  And we are all familiar with the red poppy, which has become a familiar emblem of Remembrance Day due to the poem In Flanders Fields.  It was these poppies that still bloomed across some of the worst battlefields in Flanders in World War I, and their brilliant, vivid red colour is an appropriate symbol of the blood spilt in the war.  Sky News has come up with its own interactive poppy field.  Check it out, you can even add your own poppy and attach a personal message to pay your tribute.
